Netflix has no doubt made a name for themselves with making documentaries and in fact I will watch them over and over again. However this one has to be one of the more powerful ones I have watched and its crazy because it is only 4 episodes long. Which to be honest may not be long enough, if you want each victim to have a voice and share their story of how they got sucked into this Jeffrey Epstein drama. But at the same time they told the story that we had to know about how this guy used people and his power to get away with whatever he wanted.
The show starts basically telling us who Jeffery Epstein was and how he came to be, basically we learn from earlier on that Jeffery, does have one good ability and that is being a con man. We see that he is too smart for his own good because he uses his ability to rise up in the society and gain power and watch he got that power then he began get the money, that we all dream of. The Second episode we see the people he is connected when he gets away the first time, basically serving a fraction of jailtime. We begin to see that his sweet plea deal was his connections pulling strings and getting him off on the serious charges. The third episode we now see his chamber which is actually a full island in the virgin islands. We also learn through these first 3 episodes that he uses his power and money to get young girls that are under 18 and flashes money to blind them to have sex with them even when they say no.
Around this time the MeTo movement was in full swing and with that being said everything was getting expose and sexual harassment and assault was becoming more and more important and finally the victims got their justice when Epstein was finally sent to jail where he belongs. In the fourth and finally episode Jeffery found a way out like he always does and this time it was him taking his life, which meant he had the last word, though it is debated on if someone killed him or he did he do it to himself. We learn the victims never wanted him to die but instead just sit in jail where he would have spent the rest of his life at. It disappoints the victims that once again he found a way out. We learn at the end that the victims come together and see each other and exchange stories to help cope with the pain they went through and it is very touching.
The stories were put together very well, though I wish they gave us more details on how he truly got away with everything that he did and what did he have on people of power that he used their connections to get away with everything. In the end this was a powerful one that made me keep watching and I love programs like that. In the end I am giving this series a A for a rating or 90 percent!

This going to be tough for me to talk about because the truth be told, I still haven’t watched this show for more then a total of 5 episodes out of ten seasons and here is why I must have bad luck or my timing is off because every time I give the show a chance I watch a boring episode and I just go good lord what am I watching. The show has been on for ten seasons now and over 130 episodes and it seems like the hype is now fading and fans for one reason to another is no longer interested in a show that has zombies and some pretty cool villains but because they are not used correctly and fan favorite characters left and story lines getting dragged out to the point the show seems less then a drama.
It nothing short of a great milestone for shows to reach season ten and go over 100 episodes. But now things are getting brutal in the rating department. Season ten began with just 4 million people watching the first of 16 episodes in season ten, which is the lowest rating for an season 1 premier episode when it received 5.24 million viewers and the season avg 5.97 million. Still the show really peaked in season 5 and 7 when it opened at over 17 million but then the beginning of the end came in season 9 which only 6 million people saw and now this season.
Sure if the show can rebound and give us some entertainment and not bore us with introducing a new villain then I can see the numbers going but the climb is steep and they need to use all the characters correctly, if they want to bring the crowds back. The show will be returning for a season 11 which worries me to be honest.
We know the war going to start with the Whispers since they are next villain but they have 15 episodes left and that’s all the time they need, they don’t need to drag this out like they did with Negan. We know filming for the first half of the season is done, and if they thought the first episode was good then it will be a long season for fans that are left for the show.
Who knows maybe one day I will catch up and follow this show and maybe understand it more and we all know some shows you need to have filler episodes but we will see how this season goes from here and it can’t get any worse can it?

Have you been following the NFL playoffs so far? I have to be honest i have not been. See for me I am a die-hard Pittsburgh fan, so My focus is now on the Pittsburgh Penguins but even so all I am hearing about is Antonio Brown and even for a Pittsburgher I am sick of hearing about it. These playoffs should be about the teams and player who are in the playoffs because it is pretty interesting. In the AFC championship you have Tom Brady and the Patriots vs the Kansas City Chiefs and their young star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, in what could be a passing of the torch game. Then in the NFC Game you have the Staints vs The L.A. Rams which evryone wants that team to do get to the SuperBowl, seems like the talk was people wanted an all L.A. Superbowl well we know that not happeniong this year but yet the main focus is on a guy who isn’t even playing.
Let’s get back to this drama with Brown. It all started with the Staints which the Steelers lost and pretty kicked the Steelers out of the playoffs. However Brown during that game seemed to be unstoppable which is nothing new. Then Tuesday came around and the team held a meeting to vote on the Team M.V.P and Brown didn’t win. The next day Brown leaves practice after a dispute with Big Ben, However Tomlin lied to the media and said Brown hurt his Knee but we later found out the reason why he didn’t play was because basically he was big baby who decided to mispractice and show up to the game and coach said you’re not playing and once again he walked away from the team. He started using Social Media mocking Tomlin and leaving the coach no choice but to come clean about Brown.
We now know Brown feels like the team doesn’t appreciate his talents, so this could comeback to the team M.V.P award. One thing Brown is about is his stats, he doesn’t care about winning or losing just money and stats and that my friend doesn’t make you an M.VP. Steelers team owner and president Art Roony II did a sit down interview and basically said He doesn’t see Brown returning to the team. Which means they are looking to trade him.
I once said the Steelers wouldn’t win much with Brown and sure enough that became true. The team can be better off without because the team is full of leaders so they are good shape. Yes Brown is the best Wide reciever in the game today but remember there is no I in team. That sounds cheesy but it is very much true.
