Friday Roundabout 12-13-2019

Hello and welcome to the roundabout. Where we look back at some of the latest news and rumors and I give my two cents on them. Have to give it to you straight; I have spent better part of a week and a half under the weather. So I don’t have nearly as much as I would like to give you, but have a bit and plenty of stuff to say about them. So, lets jump right to it, with some gaming news shall we.

The biggest piece was the trailer drop and announcement of the Resident Evil 3 remake coming a whole lot sooner than I was expecting. April 3rd, 2020 to be exact. I get excited anytime a Resident Evil Game is about to drop. One of my favorite game series. I even enjoyed the sixth one, and they take great care when it comes to their remakes. First being great and the second easily set the bar in how a remake game should be handled, so my excitement is through the roof for this to release. It also comes along with Project Resistance. An online survival game that has been growing a bit of steam since it has been announced and will surely garner more attention for the game. I don’t do much in the way of online games, minus Dead By Daylight, but with it coming with the game. Would gladly check it out. This just adds to a growing list of things to be excited for next year if you are a gamer.

Speaking of, this one is much more of a rumor then anything, and only commenting cause I am a big fan of the series, and that is more rumored news on a potential Left For Dead 3. This has been a long standing rumor with little things that crop up that gets people excited. I would be all for a 3rd one to come out, but would hedge my best guess that it won’t happen till a year or so into the next generation of consoles at the very least. Whether it is sooner or later, I will be waiting patiently for it.

I am sure this has been announced, but have just learned that Heather Langenkamp will have her directorial debut released at The Women Of Horror Film Festival. It is called Washed Away. The date of it is February 27th 2020, at Marietta, Georgia a bit of a distance away from me, but it does sound really cool. She is obviously horror royalty and stoked to see it at some point and wish her all the best with this. Along with all the rest of the movies that will be playing during this event.

This won’t be so much as news, but a quick little though. I am loving everything going on right now with Crisis On Infinite Earths. I am not going to review it just let, because we are only three episodes in and don’t believe you can give an accurate review till it’s all done, but there is plenty of time to get caught up, before they come back from hiatus and strongly suggest you do.

Finally, have to send my condolences to the family of Jack Burns. A 14 year old child actor, who tragically lost his life. We have lost quite a few actors this week, and is just awful to use one this young. Our deepest sympathies go out to his friends and family.

Ands that is all I got. Like I said, due to circumstances, was just unable to keep track of stuff throughout the week, and I am sorry for that. With that, I hope you enjoyed and will leave you with one last piece, Adam Pacitti for the Royal Rumble.

Thank you for reading
